Curriculum Features
Home Economics is a subject closely related to life.
Home Economics focuses on cultivating students’ daily life skills and allowing students to learn food cooking methods through interesting cooking classes. Sewing classes are also used to learn daily life skills and cultivate fashion and clothing aesthetics, so that students can prepare for their future lives. The program leads students to appreciate the beautiful things in life and cultivate positive values from different topics.
Technology is changing everyday, and traditional teaching aids in the home economics department are gradually becoming obsolete. Therefore, we used the renovation project of the home economics room to purchase ten new Brother sewing machines, an overlocker and a modern embroidery machine to improve the quality of teaching. In addition, it allows students to look at the world and see that learning today’s technology is not as difficult as it used to be. The process can give them a sense of success, thereby arousing their interest and making learning easier.
