Archery lessons
Archery is one of the six traditional Chinese arts. Archery requires meditation, a calm state of mind, a normal state of mind and a spiritual state of being pure and inactive, able to lift weights with ease, and with a hundredfold confidence. Archery can improve the working ability of brain nerve cells, and improve the excitability and flexibility of the nervous system. Our school has added three periods to the physical education classes in Form 2 and Form 6.
Fencing lessons
Fencing is a leisure and elegant sport that can strengthen the body and train reaction and thinking skills. Through the practice of different movements, the coordination ability of hands, feet and eyes can be effectively strengthened. Fencing requires thinking and planning, a sharp mind, quick observation, a calm mind, and concentration to find the right opportunity. Through training, students develop the qualities of flexibility, agility and patience to solve problems. Our school has added four periods to the physical education class in Form 1.
Swimming lessons
In addition to being a whole-body exercise, swimming also has physical therapy and stress-relieving effects. Swimming focuses on ventilation, which has a great impact on cardiopulmonary function just like breathing. Although the school does not have a swimming pool, physical education classes from Form One to Form Three are still divided into four periods.
New emerged sports
In addition to general regular sports, our school is constantly looking for emerging sports to keep pace with the times. For example: Light volleyball, Floor curling, lacrosse, Floorball, indoor rowing, golf and lawn bowls, etc.
