Curriculum Features

Junior form:

Students conduct thematic exploration and develop creativity through self-study and classroom note-taking.

Students’ composition practice worksheet.

Senior form:

Through learning about renowned paintings, students establish an art vocabulary and learn to express themselves, developing their artistic appreciation abilities.

A student, through her creative work, gained a deeper understanding of her selves, transforming not just their artistic learning but also her whole person development.

Off-campus and On-campus Exhibitions

Education Bureau “Student Visual Arts Exhibition 2023/24” – Two S6 students were selected to exhibit their works at the exhibition held at the City Hall in Central.

"The Wharf Hong Kong Secondary School Art Competition & Exhibition"

Over the past three years, 5 students were selected to participate in the touring exhibition of the “The Wharf Hong Kong Secondary School Art Competition” , held at locations including Times Square, Harbour City, and Hollywood Plaza.

Specialized Art Courses by Professional Artists

Sculpture classes are taught by professional artists, allowing students to deepen their skills in handling different media.
Student Works: Different materials such as bamboo, wood, paper and plastic are explored for specialized projects over the years.

Participate in various types of international, territory and regional competitions.

External Collaborations

Active Engagement with Alumni to Understand Career Planning

Alumni  through their professional expertise, by teaching junior students how to make cement products and sharing their entrepreneurial experiences.

Participate in activities organized by other institutions to enhance artistic abilities.

Students participated in activities organized by “Warehouse”, integrating design, imagination and hands-on work, expanding into the STEAM domain.
