Archery lessons

Archery is one of the six traditional Chinese arts. Archery requires meditation, a calm state of mind, a normal state of mind and a spiritual state of being pure and inactive, able to lift weights with ease, and with a hundredfold confidence. Archery can improve the working ability of brain nerve cells and improve the excitability and flexibility of the nervous system. This sport has been included in the physical education curriculum of high forms, and in recent years it will be expanded to junior forms. Archery courses are added to the regular physical education courses of Form 2, giving students the opportunity to be exposed to archery. Archery Team has won multiple academic archery championships and trained 16 students to represent Hong Kong at the World Youth Archery Championships. At the same time, a total of more than 120 students have been selected into the Hong Kong Youth Training Team.

Fencing lessons

Fencing is a leisure and elegant sport that can strengthen the body and train reaction and thinking skills. Through the practice of different movements, the coordination ability of hands, feet and eyes can be effectively strengthened. Fencing requires thinking and planning, a sharp mind, quick observation, a calm mind, and concentration to find the right opportunity. Through training, students develop the qualities of flexibility, agility and patience to solve problems. Our school has added four periods to the physical education class in Form 1.

Swimming lessons

In addition to being a whole-body exercise, swimming also has physical therapy and stress-relieving effects. Swimming focuses on ventilation, which has a great impact on cardiopulmonary function just like breathing. Although the school does not have a swimming pool, there are still four sessions included in physical education classes from Form 1 to Form 3.
